A Respite Ministry for Special Needs Families and their Children
Meets the 2nd Saturday of every month from September to May
3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
The special needs children and youth enjoy crafts, music, games, Bible stories and snacks. Our volunteers do a great job adapting the activities to the abilities and needs of the participants. Our buddies and the special needs kids form strong friendships. Those buddy friendships are the core of our ministry. That's why we named it 2X2.
Registration opens three weeks before each meeting.
Buddies are available for our special needs friends at our Sunday 9:30 worship service. Buddies will go where they are needed--to children's church with our younger friends or to our worship service with our older friends. Look for us in the narthex (the entry way to the main church building).
