- Serve fellow parishioners and those officiating the church service in whatever capacity that is needed
- Ready the church for the service
- Hand out bulletins before the service
- Assist in seating
- Welcome guests
- Get an attendance count
- Tidy up and shut down the Sanctuary after the service.
