Rector’s Wednesday Night Class

Wednesday evenings this fall, from 6:15 – 7:00 P.M., we are going back to the basics of the Bible together. This class runs parallel to our children’s and youth programs on Wednesday evenings. How often have you heard a Bible reading in church and not known its context, where it comes from, or how it relates to your life? This overview follows Max Anders’ book, Understanding the Bible, and seeks to give some context for the stories of the Bible within the big, overarching story of Scripture. Questions and discussion are highly encouraged.

Rector’s Bible Study

The Rector’s Bible Study is on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 – 10:45 A.M. in the church office (511 Foote Street). It is usually led by the rector, or on occasion one of the other clergy if they are preaching the coming week. The topic is always the Biblical text for the coming Sunday and readings may be found on the calendar at This is a fun, discussion oriented group. Don’t be surprised if one of the group’s questions or insights makes it into the sermon!
