Volunteer Partners

At St. Peter’s, we are a neighborhood church that cares deeply about our community. Outreach has become part of our DNA. We provide plenty of opportunities for people to volunteer with various partner organizations around McKinney, and we have many parishioners who volunteer regularly with these organizations.

Baby Booties Diaper Bank

Baby Booties Diaper Bank provides diapers and period supplies for families facing financial crisis. For more information, contact Sue McNaughton (650-200-8003).

Community Food Pantry

The Community Food Pantry of McKinney provides food to families who have found themselves in crisis. For more information, email info@community-foodpantry.org or or contact Deacon Janice Honea.

Community Garden Kitchen

The Community Garden Kitchen is a free standing building adjacent to Holy Family School that will serve as a kitchen for the students and a place for the community, as well as meals for those in need in the evening. For more information, contact Angela Poen (972-345-2171).

Community Lifeline Center

Community Lifeline Center exists to provide firm footing and assistance to local residents experiencing temporary crisis helping them navigate their way back to self-sufficiency. This may range from financial support to goods and services. For more information, contact Deacon Janice Honea.

Holy Family School

Holy Family School is an Episcopal preschool serving children 2 yrs – Pre-K of all economic realities. For more information, contact Sara Thomas (972-345-8195). Episcopal preschool offering childcare to children  without financial bias.

Shiloh Place

Shiloh Place is a ministry to single moms and their children that offers housing, childcare and tuition assistance for up to two years. Their purpose is to come along side homeless, single moms, deeply invest in each individual over the course of their time with us (up to two years), and then celebrate them as they move back into self-sufficient living. SPARC Pottery Studio

A studio of potters creating pottery that helps fund our outreach budget. For more information, contact Tammy Snively (469-223-6123).

Streetside Showers

Provides mobile hot showers & personal hygiene care to those in need. St. Peter’s holds a Sock-tober outreach event that collects socks and underwear during October benefitting this charity. For more information, contact Deacon Janice Honea.
