The Group
We are a high energy group and you can see that in everything we do. When we’re working, we accomplish more than anyone thought possible. When we’re discussing how our world and faith interact, it gets lively! When we’re hanging out, it gets a little wild.
Join us. You’ll work hard serving the poor and others in need. Your faith may be challenged but it’s also bound to grow. You’ll have a blast with some awesome new friends.
Meetings:
We meet 3 times a month, on the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Sundays.
First Sunday, Time TBA: Mission/Service in the community.
Second Sunday, 3:00-4:00: Mission trip meeting in the Youth House. Summer 2012 will be our first Junior High mission trip. The Junior High Youth Group will travel to a destination in Texas for a week of service with the poor. Join us each moth as we prepare for our amazing trip and work on our fundraising.
Third Sunday, 3:00-4:00: Youth Group meeting in the Youth House. Our youth group meetings change from month to month but almost always include these three things:
- Time to hang out and enjoy our awesome Youth House
- A short Bible study, sometimes from the hilarious Skit Guys
- Delicious cookies baked by us in the Youth House
Other special events occur at various times throughout the year.
Youth House
The Youth House is located at, 405 Sherman St., the green house with the blue and purple trim. It comes fully equipped with an air hockey table, video games, foosball table, kitchen, and backyard, and an outdoor basketball hoop. We love our youth house!
