April 2 - God Waits for You

April 2 - God Waits for You
The good news in the vision of Ezekiel and in the testimony of Lazarus is the presence of the power of God to work in our lives, to bring societies back to life and to bring people who are on this earth back to life. What if today you started dreaming big resurrection dreams? What if today you started praying resurrection prayers? When Jesus had finished praying, he said, “Lazarus, come out.” Jesus did not go into the tomb, but waited for Lazarus to come out of the tomb. Jesus says to each of us also, “Come out of your tomb. Do not live in the darkness, live in the light. Do not live in fear, live in faith.” Jesus calls us out and invites us to see the dry bones around us. Then Jesus waits for us to hear the invitation, to commit to God, and then to act. Are you listening? Audio: April 2 - God Waits for You Readings (Lent V)
