Aug. 6 - Transfiguration

Aug. 6 - Transfiguration
Jesus invites three of his disciples to go up a mountain to pray. His glory is revealed to them as a blaze of light with God's voice telling the disciples to listen to Jesus. We see that Jesus was not changed into something else, but rather became more who he really was. He shone with the glory of God. We are invited to take this mountain top experience, rediscover God’s glory by taking time to spend with Jesus through reading God’s word, praying, or being silent and still. The gifts of the mountain top exist so you can bring change at the bottom of the mountain. Audio: Aug. 6 - Transfiguration Readings (The Transfiguration)
