Oct 30 - God's Treasure

Oct 30 - God's Treasure
Sometimes we feel broken or used up, like a yo-yo without a string or a Snoopy with dingy fur and a missing ear. It’s part of being human that we disappoint people, hurt them too. We make mistakes and we embarrass ourselves. We sin. All of that may leave us feeling dingy and bedraggled but the image of God still shines in us. In God’s eyes, we are still treasure. We’ll always be treasure. After all, God’s son died for us. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life.” Audio: Oct 30 - God's Treasure Readings (Pentecost XXIV)
